I keep getting an error when trying to do the most recent software update. Any suggestions?

FWIW, If you are trying to upgrade to Big Sur, you need 35.5GBs of free space and a 2013 or later MacBook Air.
What Mac do you have and what error are you getting?
MacBook Air and the error says: an error occurred while trying to download the selected updates. Please check your internet connection and try again.
My computer says to check my internet connection buts it’s connected already. So not sure what to do.
