Was having a problem using my data to connect to my search browser. The Green load bar would load 1/4 inch then stop loading. I could not connect to SXM. I called Bite defender and was told that this is a known problem they are working on at this time. I took the Bitdefender Mobile security app. off my IPhone and it worked fine loading my search browser and connecting to SXM. I hope this helps others with this problem.
Get rid of the completely worthless BitDefender. That should solve the problem.
iOS devices in particular do not need any app like this.
No, not a scam if you're using the VPN for its true use at keeping others from intercepting clear data communication between yourself and your business. In such a case, you're running your own VPN at your business so only your employees can send and receive visible data between the business server at their location from the outside (such as working from home).
A VPN has no other useful purpose, other than hiding what user's IP address the data is going back to from elsewhere on the web. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you're not doing anything illegal. Though in other countries with much more totalitarian governments, people use VPNs located outside of their country to try and keep the government from tracking their communications back to their location.

I have used this app for the VPN which has been excellent for security to keep the predators from hacking....I disagree with you on your assessment...I posted this to help others. But you are entitled to your opinion.

A VPN can do absolutely nothing to hide any data going between you and the site you're viewing since only half of the communication is encrypted. Anything going to the site from the VPN and back to it is in the clear, or the site would have no idea what to do with the encrypted data.

None. There is no outside VPN service that is of any value to a business. Half of the communication between your employees and the company's server will always be in the clear.
In order for a VPN to be of any use, you have to set up your own VPN on your own server.
A VPN is also pretty useless too.
Kurt do you have any suggestions for which VPN company to use then?
I certainly do not want to use Bit defender if they are worthless.
