My Sony DCR-TRV620E is not recognized by iMovie
In the past iMovie was compatible with my Sony DCR-TRV620E Camcorder. Now the list provided says its not. ow can I still connect it?

While it is true that the DCR-TRV620E is not specifically mentioned in iMovie for macOS supported cameras - Apple Support, you may want to have a look at the Learn more section: "iMovie works with most mini DV tape-based camcorders using DV and HDV formats. Use FireWire port for tape-based devices."

However, there have been reports indicating some difficulties with tape-based camcorders and newer versions of iMovie, so if you have access to an older Mac with a built-in FireWire port (and a corresponding version of iMovie), it may be an advantage. You would have to carry out tests.
