I have a "Photos" and a "Pictures" folder on my mac. The Pictures folder has most of my old photos. How do I merge these 2 folders?

When you are in the photos app, you can import the photos that are in the pictures folder.
In photos, go to file:import
Then select the pictures folder and then the images you want to import.
