Anker Bluetooth Keyboard won't connect to 2020 Macbook Air

I've had my early 2020 Anker bluetooth keyboard connected to my old Macbook Pro for the past year, and just got an early 2020 Macbook Air. When I turn on the keyboard's pairing mode and search for bluetooth devices on the Macbook, it doesn't show up on the bluetooth section of System Preferences, nor on the Keyboard/Set up Bluetooth Keyboard section. Repeated the same process on a 2016 Macbook, and it came up no problem. Same with my iPhone XS. Is it possible the keyboard isn't compatible with the new Macbook/OS? Think the keyboard is supposed to be compatible with OS 10 and above, I'm on Big Sur now. Any help appreciated!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15
