Space Bar when filling out forms

I have a new IPad Pro 4th Generation. When I am filling out some online forms, there is a blue square that surrounds the space and I am unable to use my space bar. Sometimes I am not even able to type, but mostly it is the space bar. I have tried to figure out how to remove the blue box, but haven’t figured that out. Anyone else have this problem or know the solution?

Hello sbtjarks,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with a blue box surrounding the text area on your iPad. We're happy to help.

It's possible related to enabling the VoiceOver feature. On the iPad Pro if you have shortcuts for accessibility settings enabled this can occur if you triple-click the top button. You can also do this to turn the feature off.

We recommend checking Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut, to ensure this is off. Additionally, the guide here has the steps for disabling the feature, if it's accidentally turned on again: Turn on and practice VoiceOver on iPad

This guide has helpful gestures for navigating your iPad when the feature is turned on: Learn VoiceOver gestures on iPad

Cheers!
