Stuck on apple watch basics screen

I had to erase my settings on my iphone. I then had to re pair my watch to my phone. i am now stuck on the apple watch basics screen. How do i get unstuck? I have already tried restarting and then forcing a restart. My iphone is also up to date.

Apple Watch stuck on Apple Watch Basics screen I followed the steps to set up my apple watch with my new iPhone XS Max and it's stuck on the "Apple Watch Basics" screen. On my phone it it showing as paired, but when I try to change the setting it asks me to make sure that the watch is powered on and nearby my phone. Which it is.
