Apps I don’t own showing up in my screen time.

I checked my screen time on my phone this evening and noticed that my most used app is an app that I don’t and never have owned. It says I average 13 hours a day in this app. I assume this is just a weird bug? My Apple account isn’t attached to anything else besides my iPad and I don’t have this app on there either.

Hi TortoiseThief,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are seeing an app in Screen Time that is unfamiliar to you.

Do you share an Apple ID with anyone else? When you search for this app in the App Store, does it say Get, Open or have a download symbol? That may help determine if this is an app that was installed at some point or on another device.

Are you a member of a Family Sharing group? If so, check out Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to determine if this may be a family member's usage.

If that is not the case, reach out to Apple Support for further assistance from Get Support.

Take care.
