Wireless mouse stutter

I have a wireless mouse connected by dongle to my MacBook Pro 13" with MacOS Big Sur 11.1 (razer basilisk x hyperspeed) and whenever I move the cursor, it will pause for a few seconds and continue on and each stutter varies in length. Its not system lag because my trackpad works perfectly fine and does not stutter at all. Does anyone have a fix or know why this is happening?
