Find my Unavailable unable to connect to server

Find my on my iPhone XR, which as the newest version of iOS is not working. It keeps telling me “unable to connect to server” I looked through past threads on here (2018) and apparently this was an issue before. Sounds like the techs higher up fixed it without the user having to do anything.

I have been having this problem for months. I’ve googled, I’ve looked at every possibility many many times, verified that everything is on and the way it should be. It’s not my settings from what I can tell or what instructions have shown me. Some say that it has to do with my internet connection, it’s also not this as I’ve tried many different places.

I can’t be the only one experiencing this. Can anyone give me any insight as to how to resolve this? I’ve got a 16 year old who’s driving now, I wanna keep tabs on her.
