So I was using my Apple TV this morning and everything was great and then this evening all the colors started inverting or becoming saturated with a weird halo / shadow effect happening with the app icons and images. I’m resetting the Apple TV to see if that fixes it but has anyone had this issue?

It worked when I changed setting off of 4K HDR which stinks but for now it’ll have to do until apple fixes that issue. Thanks for the advice.

This is one of 2 things:
A- Either HDMI cable needs to be replaced.
B- Or display settings on your Apple TV needs to be changed, of to SETTINGS/VIDEOandAUDIO and try various Video display settings.
I replaced the cable and tried 2 separate HDMI cables and both had issues still. Gonna try the video / audio settings this morning and see if that does anything. Super frustrating and since COVID, there is no way to get a genius bar appointment. Grrr. Hope the Video setting shift works. I'll update you shortly.
Also to add. The blu-ray works and it doesn’t seem to affect any other devices.
