I am sending my I Phone 6 for a battery replacement. On page 5 of the instruction booklet sent to me from apple it states to remove the SIM card. Is this necessary for only a battery replacement?
Yes, remove the SIM card. I had to take my phone case off of my 7 when I used to have it. They wanted me to send it back for a battery replacement too, no phone case or SIM card can be attached when sending it in for repairs.
