iPhone speaker includes Macbook

I got a new MacBook Air M1 and now when I use my iPhone and want to use the speaker on a call, instead of just speaker, I have the option to choose MacBook. Not sure why, but even if I choose it, it does not send audio to my MacBook, so it's a useless, but cumbersome option. Why is it there and how can I get rid of it?
