Hi! The past few days I've noticed that all videos appearing on Instagram, story and feed, are blurry. I logged into another account on my phone and there all videos are fine... I have an iPhone 12 pro. I'm so confused about this issue, does anybody know? I have tried to reach out to instagram as well but no answer...

Are you connected by wifi, or mobile data.
If mobile data, check your account settings. Have you selected "use less data" under mobile data use.
Otherwise I suggest you contact instagram support - this is clearly not a phone issues as other accounts are ok.

Ok I’ve had the same annoying issue and I think this is going to solve it. There has been a message prompting me to switch to or connect the new messager in Instagram I kept ignoring it until today. Once I clicked on it allowed it to connect l deleted the app, reinstalled and bingo the videos are working perfectly hope this helps you as well
I’ve been having the same issue with my Instagram since December. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and that didn’t work. I then thought maybe my IOS update would help, but no luck there either. I also reached out to Instagram about the issue, and they haven’t fixed it either. Someone in this thread mentioned something about a messenger update. Well I did that too, and that didn’t fix the issue either. Smh Only thing left is for Instagram to look into the issue and fix it, because o know other people who are having this issue too.

for me it happened in January I think. So around same time.. I’ve tried to report the problem to Instagram myself but haven’t heard from them. You also have the same problem if you log in to your Instagram account on another phone? Because that’s the case with me..
Other than my previous suggestion, no. Try to find an instagram forum, or just ask your contacts on instagram.
Both Wifi and mobile data, and different Wifi's - still the same.

I have multiple accounts on my Instagram app that I can log into... if I switch the account on the same phone the videos are fine it’s def not my phone. My has been a problem since Jan too. It’s much better now with the messages thing
This is not only MY videos, but all videos that appear on instagram...
What do you mean by "another account on your phone"? Another instagram account? Or apple ID? or something else?

thanks for the tip but that didn’t work for me... I have tried to wipe the phone and installed everything from scratch as well. Still blurry..
Annoying that didn’t work for me.. hopefully it’s a bug or something Instagram will fix soon. I’m so frustrated with not seeing people videos properly.
I haven’t tried to log into my Instagram on another device. But I’m going to try that out and see what happens. And I agree with you about being tired of not seeing people’s videos correctly. Smh
