Apple Pencil response delayed on procreate

Whenever I try to draw on Procreate the response to my Apple Pencil is delayed by a few seconds. I tried contacting the developers of the app. They gave me a few solutions but when none of those worked they told me to contact Apple. I’ve tried contacting Apple directly but I keep getting a message that no one is available. Can anyone help me? I need this issue to be fixed ASAP as I have a project to work on on the procreate app.
