Have you tried rebooting the phone it self. If that fails you should put your old sim card in the go to settings and click phone and scroll thought til you see sim pin and or sim then it should allow you to put in a pin code if you know then enter it if not go to verizon and ask them if they have the pin your phone records also is the phone from apple or verizon

What is the error message that you get? You need to contact Verizon for help. We, nor Apple can help you.
