Voicemail not working

I transferred my information from an Android to my new I Phone 12. The voicemail showed it was working; however, I am unable to get any voicemails. It won't allow me to reset and it showing as being functional. I do not want to do a reset of my phone, because I do not want to lose any of my data (wasn't an easy switch from Android to I phone).

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Tell your phone carrier voicemail isn't working that is their feature.
