delete purchased history

so i am wondering if i change my apple id will i be able to start over on the purchased history. i have made some mistakes with my purchases and i need the current list to be deleted so i can start fresh. i am thinking i need to get a new apple id to do this, correct?

i know you can hide apps but i do not want to do that as they still can be found.
