Is it possible to make all folders open to a new default size (not the finder window) in macOS Catalina.

Hello - Is it possible to make all folders open to a new default size (not finder window) in macOS Catalina. I keep folders on my desktop, It would be convenient for me if any folder I double tap on the desktop or within another window would opened to a default size I set ... so all folders would open to that size.
