Not enough storage for Apple Watch update

I literally have nothing downloaded on my Apple Watch except the apps it came predownloaded with and it says I don’t have enough storage to do an update. I can’t make any more storage because I can’t delete any more apps. How do I fix this or do I have to just live with it trying to update every night and not being able to?
