two factor authentication

So I set-up an apple account specifically for purchases on the App Store. After updating the iOS on my phone, it automatically activated the two factor authentication. Though, for some reason, the phone number of the trusted device is not mine. And I have only had one phone number ever since I set up this account. I couldn't figure out what number that is to recover my account. At this point, I just want to cancel all the subscriptions on that account. How to do that since I can't log in even with my password. I'm using another account right now.

Do you need a verification code? See if anything here helps.  If necessary, you can use account recovery as explained in the link at bottom of the article.


Verification code - how to get one and sign in with two-factor authentication.   


You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
