iPhone 12 Pro Charge Delay

Hi!

I am wondering if it’s normal that there is a couple of seconds (sometimes 5 seconds) before my phone starts charging when plugged in.

I am using a 12 pro, with the 20W wall adapter. Tried multiple outlets, restarting phone, go to an anterior backup... same result.

Usually a phone starts charging almost instantly, but could it be like that for a safety protection?
