iPhone 11 Pro ringer getting loud after FaceTime or whatsapp call disconnects

Hi,

whenever I disconnect a FaceTime audio call or WhatsApp audio call even video call, for that matter on my iPhone 11pro, the ringer volume increases to 60%-70%, whereas I usually keep my phone's ringer volume at the least (10%).. does this happen to anyone else? can someone suggest a fix apart from rebooting the phone.

I have been encountering this issue since I bought the phone, but it rarely happened.. nowadays it has increased a lot, I wonder why.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14

Hello shreym09,

We'd love to assist you with your ringer volume unexpectedly increasing. To start, let's make sure your device is running the iOS 14.3 software in Settings > General > About, next to version. If it does not show 14.3, then let's backup and update the device using the steps here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Also, if you are using a screen protector or protective case, then please remove it from the device and test for the issue again.

Lastly, let's go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode. Does it show the Attention Aware Features option turned on? If so, does disabling the feature resolve the issue?

Take care!
