a gamepad for MacBook pro with iOS BigSur

I have a MacBook Pro 2018 with iOS BigSur. Following the suggestions given by Apple I bought a controller Nimbus+. Although the manufacturer SteelSeries tried to help me, finally I had to give it back: the controller does not work with my Mac.

I now would like to know wether it exists a controller ( gamepad, joystick or other) which works on the machine I have with the new iOS Big Sur.

For instance, somebody would suggest me to use the Sony Play Station Dual Shock4 wireless controller? Does it work with a system as mine?

Thanks in advance to anyone will answer me about it.

(I do not find the right category for my question, that's why I put in "Magic mouse and trackpad"
