Silent mode

I thought that I could have my Favorites ring when my phone is in Silent mode, but it is not working. Favorites ring when I allow them to in Do Not Disturb, but I'd like them to ring in Silent mode also. Help please.

Favorites on phone I have my phone set so that it won't ring between 11 PM and 8 AM, except for Farites that I've set up. The phone will still ring if a Favorite calls, but the text tone won't. I've looked through settings and can't find anything that concerns this. How do I set my phone so that I can get text tones during Do Not Disturb times from any favorite?

Accessing Favorites From Lock Screen I’m so frustrated- with the new update, Apple took away the ability to access my “favorites” from swiping left in the Lock Screen. I even went through and created a shortcut widget with my “favorite” numbers. But you can’t call them without unlocking the phone!! This was my peace of mind for my preschooler and toddler to make phone calls to grandma and dad, especially in an emergency situation, since we no longer use a house phone (like most households.) Anyone find a way around this? I’m super frustrated.

Why does my phone ring with do not disturb enabled My iPhone 8 still rings while my do not disturb is enabled. I have my favorites set up and tested it out with an unknown number and it still rings. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

No way to do that, sorry.

Mute switch doesn't give you any option, it just silences eveything. Use DND.
