must go to photos then select the video you want to send, click the share option in lower left, then find messenger, have patient to wait while decompressing then send, hopefully will help

Switching off Low Battery mode seemed to have worked and fixed this issue for me. After countless hours spent looking for online resources, this simple trick fixed it! Hope it fixes it for you too

I have this trick to solve the problem : I press edit, then send. But this is not the best option, the problem must be fixed!

Nope. Tried both. Can’t even send videos sent to me from other people. It won’t even let me upload to Facebook, unless I go the the web version in safari, so it obviously something to do with the apps.

did you say no to it tracking your data? Just wondering if that messed something in the settings up, somehow.

Hi, I tried all of the above steps but I’m still experiencing this issue. It’s really frustrating. It’s not just on fb messenger either, it’s happening on Line App too. I also have an XR. Please help.

I’m still having this issue after a month with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It kinda makes the phone look bad. Worked fine on my 11 pro max. Have you got a fix for this yet? Seems to only be an iPhone problem

Me too. After I updated the IOS this problem happen. I cannot send video to messenger. Cleared browsing history and uninstall/install app. What can I do?
