Chain message

Recently just got this phone number and now my phone has been receiving text messages from random numbers. At first it was just just one so I didn’t really think nothing of it, however the mysterious messages went from 1 to 3 then eventually a chain message and those people messaging me out of that chain.

My point is this is very inconvenient especially considering how inappropriate the message usually is.
