Skype Screen Sharing

Hello,

I use the new Macbook Air (M1 chip, Big Sur MacOS) and have downloaded the latest Skype. I granted the Screenrecording in Privacy System Preferences, but people can't see my screens, only the black areas when I share any app window - Photos, Numbers, etc.

Are there any ways to make it work?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0

Problem with skype in All-In-one messenger The only way to get on Skype through the App Store is through All-In-One Messenger. Skype works well until you have to "share screen." I've already gone through System Preferences- Security & Privacy- Screen Recording. All that looks good but I'm still not able to use "Share screen". I"m using a 2015 27in iMac, 3.2 ghz quad-core intel i5. with 8 gb. I have version 11.2. Anyone have the same problem and found the solution? Thanks, George

Skype screen sharing problems with mac os Catalina Since I updated to the version 10.15 of Mac OS Catalina I am not able to share the screen in Skype. Everytime I try to share screen, it is sharing a screen that is none of the active ones. Everybody sees an empty screen that I am not able to locate.

Custom Skype background during video chats based on my MacBook model... I have a MacBook, model no. A2337. Can I run custom Skype backgrounds on it during video chats? Because I've heard that's not an option on all Macs. And when I try to follow the System option instructions others give, the system menu options do not all appear to be there. Particularly starting in "Audio and Video": the "choose background" option.{In Skype} I don't want to feel gypped, cuz I JUST bought this model, brand new. But I would wish to know one way or the other. And this is all I was able to find in terms of a way of finding out... If I could find out for sure, that would be great. Thanks.

We see you're trying to change your privacy settings to work with Skype. Be sure to look over the article Change Privacy preferences on Mac.

Thank you, jdo_apple. I'll look through it again. Previously I did everything step by step.

What is more, Skype Meeting consumes a lot of energy and warms the MacBook. So, I refuse it for Zoom.
