Which MacBook Air should i get?

Hi guys! Do you mind give me some advice and insights? I’m currently looking for a new MacBook, mine was Macbook Pro 13 inch 2017, and sadly it recently got an LCD problem (the screen will randomly turn off) and the keyboard sometimes stuck, i’ve been using it for 2.1 years and only for basic student needs (browsing, Microsoft, Adobe PS & AI, iMovie, online meeting and streaming) and that’s it!

Kinda disappointed in Apple knowing these display and flexgate problems occur a lot in their 2016 and later Macbook. 

Do you know if the new MacBook usually get the same display and keyboard problem just like the old one or Apple fix and change their hardware error? (especially in MacBook Air since i’m planning to use MacBook Air instead of Pro now knowing i’ll only use MacBook for basic student needs)

Well to be honest i’m not really in a rush to buy a new one but still it will be delightful to be able and know what kind of MacBook Air should i buy one soon around the 6th month or later this year!

Which one would you guys recommend?

The Intel 2020 MacBook Air (but i’ve heard about their bad camera quality and get heated pretty quickly) or M1 MacBook Air? (i’m pretty worried also about their no cooling fan system that will cause heat issues in the future) or should i wait for the M1X MacBook Air? (M1 is their first ever chip so i guess there will be a huge difference in their performance and compatibility between them and Apple gonna release M1X soon too right?)

I’m a medical student by the way so i’ll need a huge storage and great performances knowing i’ll open a bunch of tabs in the browser, online meeting and open a lot of documents in the same time (i’m saying this because my 2017 MacBook Pro get pretty heated quickly and making a lot of noises also sometimes the application will eventually crash down or not responding if i do that)

I’ve looking for a new one that will last me for years just like my old 2011 MacBook Pro that’s been keeping up with me for the 10 years!

Sorry if it’s waaaay to long for you to read and sorry if there are some typos here and there because English isn’t my first language but i hope i can get my point across since i’m really confused on which one should i go with right now and some insights from you guys would be amazing!
