Printer software needed or not?
so my question is if I have a wired printer do I need a software for that printer on my MacBook Air 2019? My printer is canon MG2200 series.

if the printer / scanner pane found within system preferences does not show your printer when you select add and assuming you have the printer set up properly then yes you need to go to their website and determine if they have printer software for the system you are using.
