Iphone 12 screen replacement

Hi!

I need to get a cracked screen repaired on an iPhone 12. Every authorized service provider that I’ve called in a 100mi radius does not have the replacement screen in stock. Is this normal? I really don’t want to send my phone through the mail, but I don’t know of other options. TIA.
