I am trying to do family sharing I have sent the email to my granddaughter and when she opens it up to except the invitation it says Safari cannot open the email what should I do

My grandmother has family sharing and she was trying to add me into her family sharing she sends me the email when I try to open it it says Safari cannot open the email address what should we do

Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support
- Review the section, Invite people to join your family, for guidance.

If sending an invitation via Messages:

Verify the invitation has been sent to the email address associated with your Apple ID.
Restart your iPhone.
Update your iPhone.

If the issue persists, try the invite in person option. Contact Apple Support for further assistance.
