apple news+ problems

When I am reading Apple News+, every so often the app decides to wipe out the article I am reading and over-write it with a totally different article, and the rest of the page as well. I am not a slow reader, so it's not that I am "studying" the page! This started about a month back, and it occurs on both my iPad Mini 4, my iPad Air, and my MacBook. I have tried internet searches but that's a waste of time, absolutely no "hits" on this situation. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Oh, I see "Apple News" doesn't seem to be anything Apple considers a topic, so I'll choose "iPad" even though it seems to occur on my MacBook also.
