Lost my remote

Hello,

I have lost my remote to my Apple TV. I have set the remote up on my phone but cannot connect to the apple tv as I have to verify with a 4 number code on the tv. As I do not have the remote, I can't type in the code.

Can I purchase a new remote or is there another solution?

Remote for Apple TV is lost. All the support says to use the remote app in my phone. But those instructions all refer me back to using the lost remote to enter a code. It’s a circle. Remote for Apple TV is lost. Support says to use the app in my phone as a replacement. However, all the instructions say in need to enter a code into the Apple TV which I can’t do because the remote is gone. I’d appreciate any ideas.

Apple TV remote lost I lost my apple tv remote. I want to use my ipad for the remote, but it tells me to enter a code on the Apple TV. I can't do that because I don't have the remote. Is there another way to do this so I can use my iPad?

Older models require a physical remote in order to pair with the remote on iPhone. You can purchase a replacement from Apple.
