Photos 6.0 - Moving hidden photos to another album

I have found over 300 photos hidden in Photos. I want to move them to another album. I no longer want them hidden. I don't know how they became hidden.

Every time I copy or move them to the folder I want them in they remain in the hidden folder (which I have unhidden) but do not show up in the destination folder.

I have tried dragging a few photos over and sending them all over. Nothing works. I am using the latest OS Big Sur 11.1 and Photos 6.0.

If it is relevant the Photos album holds over 70,000 photos and videos (mostly photos) going back earlier versions of iPhotos and Aperture until I moved back over to Photos. The photos themselves go back to 1997 and were taken on a variety of iPhones and digital cameras.

Thanks for any help.

I have worked this out for myself after watching a video on YouTube by someone else about hiding photos. I am going to leave the Q & A here as I could not find this solution anywhere on the Forums and others might find it useful.

If photos are hidden and you unhide the album, the photos remain locked (or hidden from any other album). To move the photos (back) to an album I first had to select the photos, then apply the key combination "Command-L" which unlocked them all, then I simply dragged them (or moved using the menu command) to the destination folder into which I wanted them to be able to view them normally.

The photos all disappeared from the hidden folder once I had moved them. Hope this helps.
