Is there a way to easily locate an app shortcut (not the app but the icon) which you know is there but can't remember on what page

I know this is a stupid question, so apologies, it's just that this has caught me out a few times as I have a lot of apps.

A couple of times I've forgotten on what page and if applicable in what folder a particular app icon is.

Search brings up the app so that isn't an issue, as I can use the app (if I can remember the name!) but is there a way to go to the shortcut (icon) directly, so it shows which page the shortcut is on without having to search through all the pages manually?

(also I found a related post, just curious does the 11 page limit still apply?)

Thanks

Unless the app is in a folder, you cannot find out what screen the app is on. When you use the spotlight search for an app, it shows the folder name next to the app icon/name when it appears in the search. The only way that you can find it if it isn’t in a folder, is to search for it manually, screen by screen. On the bright side, if you can’t find it for some reason, searching as you know will do the trick.

AFAIK, the 11 page limit still applies.
