Thunderbolt Port not working....

Hello, I plugged in an external monitor to my macbook pro and after a few months the Thunderbolt port no longer works. Can anyone tell me why or the best way to fix this? One of the ports works fine, just one of them seems dead. Thanks!

Ventura 13.4 thunderbolt 3 port I have updated to 13.4 and now one of my thunderbolt ports have stopped working my external HDD now needs to be plugged into a usb port. I have an external monitor plugged in the other port but when I move it the display is dead. iMac 21inch

ports not connecting The port from my monitor to my MacMini work intermittently. I just move the cable from one port to the other and that solves it until the next time but what can I do?
