Missing charger in the box

I've got iPhone 12 Pro Max - and there is no charger in the box. I've tried to google and found Apple claims they trying to be green and users already have chargers, butI had iPhone X and included cable is not compatible with my old charger.

Can Apple provide correct charger or cable compatible with USB A in the box?

If you have an older USB power adapter and the cable that goes with it (from an older iPhone or iPad), you can use that. If you need to buy a power adapter to work with the cable that came with your new iPhone, see: Buy 20W USB-C Power Adapter - Apple

I have older charger brick, but my old charging cable is broken - it still works but some times loses power and phone can be not charged after night.

I can't use old brick with new cable - because it's USB A and new cable included in the box - is USB type C.

I fill like Apple just makes me to spend extra $20 on new brick instead of including it into the box for phone with price over $1000
