I recently purchased an iPhone 12 Pro and noticed an issue with the camera flash.
When taking photos, even when Flash On selected, the flash only blinks once, not twice as expected, resulting a very dark photo.
I tried restarting the Camera app, force restart iPhone but nothing works.
Any thoughts on how to solve this issue?

From here, we'd suggest reaching back out to Apple Support and letting them know the steps did not resolve the issue.

I tried contacting Apple Support but they guided me to the same link as you mentioned "Use Night mode on your iPhone".
This did not help nor solved the problem, as Night mode is working properly.
The flash however does not go off twice as expected, even with Flash On selected. I noticed this issue on other apps like Instagram and Lightroom besides the Camera app.
I recorded my screen with the issue: on the first photo the flash went off twice as it should, but on the last two it went off only once...
