Instagram notifications not coming through iPod 12 Pro/ios 14.3/Instagram ver.170

Having an issue with Instagram Alerts and Notifications not coming through my lock screen, banners, and notification center when it comes to people that I follow and my likes, comments, etc.

Currently have the most up to date version of Instagram (170) and the ios 14.3 software

I have turned on all of my notifications for both my IPhone and within the Instagram App. Noticed that I had alerts and notifications when I entered the app. Nothing was coming through on my lock screen, banners or notification enter however when I went into the app I noticed I have 3 or so important notifications and a message. Again all of my notifications are turned on for both my Iphone 12 pro and within Instagram

My Do Not Disturb Button is turned off, Sounds are turned on, I restarted my phone but still nothing, I also uninstalled Instagram and reinstalled it and still nothing.

Tried everything I could think of but nothing is working. Please help

Hey Trumanmoney,

We understand that you're having an issue with receiving notifications for Instagram. You've completed some fantastic steps so far to help resolve this. From here, let's check the following:

Do you use any VPN or security software? If so, temporarily disable or remove those to see if the notifications come through. If they do, you'll want to work with the developer of those apps to look into this with you: How to contact an app developer
Tap Settings > General > Date & Time. From here, be sure "Set Automatically" is turned on, and that the "Time Zone" shows correct. If any changes are made here, Restart your iPhone and check the notifications again.

If the issue continues at this point, you'll want to reach out to the Instagram support team to look into this more. Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Thanks. I did all of that and I am still getting no alerts. I recently switched phones. I am running my old phone off of our Wifi to just to test to see if alerts were coming through and they are however in my new phone they are not. Both phones running off of the latest version of Instagram.
