I can print using my other computers, but when I use this MacBook Pro, the printing queue says, filter failed.

I have a Lexmark E260DN printer that allows my other computers to print but not my Mac. The printing queue says filter failed. I know the problem isn't with my Mac because I can print with my other computers. I was able to print before with this Mac before I updated it to the new Mac OS Big Sur. So ever since the update, I haven't been able to print. Please help. Thank you.

Maybe. First of all, which exact Mac model (year) are you using in this case? How is the printer connected (network or USB)?

You could perhaps begin by resetting the printing system and re-adding the printer. Does the operating system suggest a driver?

Thanks. Could you test a network connection instead (the printer connected by Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports of a Wi-Fi router)? The computer connected wirelessly to the same router (or through an Ethernet cable to another LAN port).

In the meantime, could you download the Lexmark Printer Driver 3.2 package from Apple, just for a test (https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1926?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US)? Check whether it contains a Lexmark E260dn (11.3) driver. Is it possible to use this older driver?

If necessary, reset the printing system between each test.

A network connection would allow you to try standard protocols and printer languages. See also the aforementioned discussion.

I guess that you have a Wi-Fi router (make/model?). Even an old spare router could be used for a test. You need one Ethernet cable to connect the printer to a LAN port of the router. If you choose to connect the MacBook Pro wirelessly to the router, that would be it.
