I have updated iOS to 14.3
I had to perform an “approval” for my child’s request. I went through usual screens to do it, but when pop up asking for my Apple password showed, the keyboard didn’t show.

Looks like you are having some trouble with your iPhone not displaying the on screen keyboard when a password request prompt appears.
