Your Apple ID doesn't match this order.

I recently placed an order on the Apple Online Store and checked-out as a guest. I am trying to add the order to my Apple ID from the order status page on Apple's website but am unable to do so and am getting an error.

I am attaching a screenshot of the error.

Can't add guest order to Apple ID I recently placed an order on the Apple website but turns out I was not logged in. I did pay using Apple Pay so I assumed the order would be linked to my Apple ID but it is not. When I check the order status, I see the following: "Your guest order at a glance. Add this order to your Apple ID to make changes or to return or cancel an item." And then a big blue button below that says "Add to Apple ID". When I click that button, I'm taken to a page that says: "Something went wrong. There was a problem with your request. Please try again." I've tried following the link in the order confirmation email I received from several different devices. I've also tried logging into my account on the Apple Store website and then clicked on "Orders" and then clicking on "Don’t see your order?Find it now". Nothing that I've tried as worked, it all results in ending up at a page that says: "Something went wrong. There was a problem with your request. Please try again." Does anyone have any suggestions?

Guest Order to Apple ID? Hey all, I just purchased a couple of iPhone 14s and had to order as a 'Guest' as it was bugging out when I was trying to login to my Apple ID. Received confirmation order number as a 'Guest'...now how do I link the purchase back to my Apple ID. I can check the order status but putting in the order number and my email....but when I log in with my Apple ID it doesn't show this new order. Its as if the system doesn't recognise ive ordered using the same email address. Anyway to link this new order to my ID?

"The order number entered is already linked to your Apple ID". When logged out, I get this, then when I log in I get the following message When logged into my account I get.I get this message when I try to add an ordered hardware item that is not showing up in my ordered items list when I am logged in. Has anyone else had a situation where an order you submitted gives this error messsage?
