RAM upgrade and Warranty

I am buying a new iMac, if I upgrade my RAM myself does that void my Apple Warranty.

You-break-it-you-bought-it applies.

A flawless upgrade does not void the warranty, but damage caused by user, unauthorized service, or out-of-spec parts is excluded and may void the warranty on everything else.
