trade in rort- Apple stiffs me again!!How come, when I answered all the questions required truthfully my expected trade in value goes from $100 to $5? The explanation was: "Bent devices without evident screen lifting (< 1mm)". What does that mean?? and how was i to know this would affect my trade in value??
The meaning of “good condition” is stated above as “The device is not bent ...”.
”Not bent” means not bent at all.
I don’t know this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if <1mm” is what allows them to offer $5. Perhaps “>1mm” would result in a zero offer.

i saw nothing and their response was that it was less than "(<)1mm without evident screen lifting". if there is no evident screen lifting why does it negate the trade in value?? How as I supposed to see that??? they do not specify how bent or that less than 1mm made the trade in worthless. How do I know that teeny tiny bend did not happen en-route???
I would believe you if I hadn't already experienced many ridiculous things like this from apple and their attempts to grab money from people ( experiences of family and friends). It is why I do not have an iPhone or Mac . I only have an iPad because there is no suitable equivalent for me yet in android.
