The static may occur because of the active noise cancellation getting interference with other bluetooth devices in close proximity. If you listen carefully and move around you may notice the sound will intensify, switch to the right side, or stop all together when near other devices.

Hey! Did you figure out how to fix the issue you’re having? My Beats are also currently having a static-y sound on the left side as well, but it’s only when noise canceling is active.

yes I have the same issue, I bought a brand new Beats Solo Pro, two months later I started to hear a static/cracking sound which is really annoying because these headphones are amazing in fact best On-ear headphones money can buy but this issue is really annoying pls help me solve the issue
