Bad quality of Instagram videos and stories

Hi. We see that you're experiencing quality issues with videos and stories on Instagram. We will do our best to assist. Do you experience similar issues in other apps such as Camera, Facebook, etc? If it is only happening in Instagram, check for updates by following the steps here: Update apps or use automatic downloads.

Another step is to delete and install the Instagram app. To do so, open the Settings app. Tap General, then tap iPhone Storage. Tap the Instagram app, then tap Offload app. Tap Offload app again. Wait a moment for the app to offload, then tap Reinstall App. If issue continues, we suggest reaching out to Instagram's app support here: Instagram Help Center.

I'm experiencing the same exact issue on my 12 max pro that I’ve only had the last 3 weeks or so. Even the quality of FaceTime videos tend to lack. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app like you suggested and nothing is working. I still have my 10 and 10 XS and the quality on both those devices is just fine, I’ve compared the same videos on all three. Are there any in-phone actions I should take? Thank you.

This issue has not been fixed. Instagram’s features still work on my X and XS but the video and reel quality on my 12 max pro is the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s really bad and I still would appreciate a fix.

Hi, any fix for this? Is the issue in instagram or apple itself? Observe the quality is low even after changes the settings
