Shipment on Hold (DHL Singapore)

I have recently ordered an apple iPhone expecting that to be shipped from Manila, Philippines. But I found out later that it is being shipped from Singapore, with the given DHL tracking number the status of shipment is on hold for past 2 days. I just wanted to know if it is a matter to worry or need to give some time to see the changes? I am assuming it is getting delayed due to COVID issues. I did mail the DHL service and waiting to contact apple after sales support to make sure there is no issues with the shipping.

You will have tracking details updated everyday so you should wait for the next movement, i can relate of how eagerly we wait for the products to reach our home.

After getting customs clearance from Singapore, your order will get shipped to Manila, and there again they get to undergo customs clearance, it takes 1-2 days and then it is handed over to the 3rd party delivery service WHICH WOULD NOT BE MENTIONED IN TRACKING PAGE, it will display as shipment on hold, depending on what location you’re in they take time to deliver. For eg, Within manila maybe a day or Legazpi city, Bicol 1-2 days and so on

if you do not get the parcel please call the customer care and inquire them for the real time update.

It is called W Express corporation (formerly DHL). I just checked po on google maps, there’s also one in Naga city.

once the order clears customs in MNL, Maybe a day or two days later you can call DHL MNL for the exact status po. If it’s already in the nearest hub to your location, they will provide you the contact information so you can inquire po.

Until today my shipment is actually still on hold. Is yours still on hold as well? I'm curious as to why the hold up tho. Gave apple a call but then they said maybe the tracking page is just not up to date..

Long as there is no actual problem with the item or my payment it's cool I guess lol

Hope we get our items soon tho! Or at least it moves from being on hold to somewhere else lol.

Would be great if you can update me with your status :)

Hello!

My parcel has already moved last April 13. It departed Singapore April 13 and was in their DHL facility in Hong Kong last April 14. It arrived in the Philippines April 15 and as of 3AM of April 16, it only shows "Processed." I would think it is now undergoing customs clearance (where some comments say might take several days). Estimate delivery date is on April 23. I live in Metro Manila and I am not sure if the same process applies to provincial deliveries.

I hope there is progress in your purchase! :) And I hope we received our items soon :D

I am having the same issue! I did not expect it to ship from Singapore! And mine has been on hold for 3 days! I should have just bought from Power Mac. 😣

Oh great! Thank you so much for the response. I was worried as it says that there’ll be custom duty/import fees to be paid 12% is a big thing. Thanks!

Once it was forwarded to the 3rd party courier and it is already out for delivery, will the tracking be updated? Or it will still be status on hold until it is delivered?
