Group competition in Apple Watch

Other fitness trackers allow *multiple* friends to compete in the same challenge (e.g. 7-day, weekday, etc.). With Apple Watch, I believe I can only compete with *one* friend at a time. Is there a plan to offer this feature for multiple friends competitions?
