passcode

My 76 year old father's Iphone updated last night and this morning it asked for a passcode. I do not know what he did because I never set up a passcode on his Iphone because he can not remember one or type. Now his phone is locked and asking for a passcode that I do not know. What do I do?

IIf a message says that your device is disabled, learn what you need,

You need a computer to follow these steps. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend.
